And I'm an entire week behind again...
Day 78 was Chest, Shoulders & Triceps followed by Ab-Ripper X.
Day 79 was Plyometircs.
Day 80 was Back & Biceps with Ab-Ripper X
Day 81 was Yoga.
Day 82 was supposed to be Legs & Back followed by Ab-Ripper X but I had to make the 6 hour round-trip out to Rhode Island for Coronation. So I ended up doing nothing.
Day 83 was Cardio X
Day 84 is fencing.
Feels a little weird that its all coming to an end, can't believe we've been at this for 90 days already. Not that we'll stop, we'll modify a bit and carry on pushing play.

P90X: Day 73, 74, 75, 76 & 77
Day 73 was Shoulders & Back + Ab-Ripper X
Day 74 was Yoga. I really didn't feel like doing anything except sit on the couch, but the hubby MADE me get off my arse and workout. I think I started thanking him about 15 minutes in and by the end I'd said thank you about six times!
Day 75 was Mudthaw. First of the major events of the season and I got to spend the day fencing! Always a great time so refer to this post. Technically we should have been doing Legs & Back but I would say that our martial activities were a good substitute.
Day 76 was Cardio X. I was exhausted from Mudthaw and my legs felt like jelly, but I got through it albeit at a less than usual intensity.
Day 77 was fencing. My horrible and mean Don says I have to suck it up and learn to like the Kempo workout =(

P90X: Day 71 & 72
Day 71 was Chest & Back followed by Ab-Ripper X I have to admit that I'm pretty amazed by what I can crank out now. It may not be world class but its definitely a hell of a lot more than when I first started.
Day 72 was Plyometrics. For some reason was feeling pretty bloated and ugly last night when doing this but I worked hard and got through it feeling great. I'll definitely be continuing with this workout after my 90 days are up

P90X: Day 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69 & 70
CRAP, I am a full week behind .... work has had me running ragged. Anyway...
Day 63 was technically a rest day but being Monday it was off to fencing practice for me. I have to admit that I have noticed that I'm not nearly as out of breath at the end of the night as I used to be.
Day 64 was Chest, Shoulders & Triceps followed by Ab-Ripper X.
Day 65 was Plyometrics.
Day 66 was Back & Biceps with Ab-Ripper X
Day 67 was Yoga
Day 68 was Legs & Back followed by Ab-Ripper X. I actually bonked REALLY badly about 20 minutes into this routine and had to sit out for the rest. I hadn't eaten enough during the day because I was consumed with being artistic and didn't realize what the time was until I got summoned to workout...
Day 69 was Cardio X
Day 70 was fencing. I love fencing.

P90X: Day 59, 60, 61 & 62
Day 59 was Shoulders and Back followed Ab-Ripper X.
Day 60 was supposed to be Yoga but we both wimped out a bit as we got home later than usual and couldn't face an hour and a half of exercise. We did X-Stretch instead. I know it's not quite the same thing but .....
Day 61 had us back to Legs & Back followed with Ab-Ripper X and I have to admit that my legs are still a little tired from that. Not quite sure why, but it does feel really good!
Day 62 I was on my own for Cardio X since hubby was off beating guys with sticks. Such a more enjoyable workout than Kenpo.

P90X: Day 58
Day 58 was Plyometrics. I felt this last night, for some reason I really struggled through it and started to get dizzy towards the end. I came to the conclusion that my food intake during the day hadn't been idea and that I was thus feeling the effects. I completed it though and by the end my legs felt like lead. Its still my favourite of the cardio workouts.
I can't believe that we're approaching the end of this round. Funny thing is I'm having some doubts as to whether there's been any physically obvious changes. Probably all in my head and once we take our Day 60 photos this weekend I'm sure I'll be in a more positive place.
And, the hubby is developing a head-cold so he'll probably have to either dog-it or or sit out completely for the next few days, which means we'll probably have to extend by a week.

P90X: Day 56 & 57
And on the 56th day, there was rest .... (have to imagine the big booming voice)
Day 57 started our third and final phase of this round (yes there will be more). To start, Chest & Back followed by Ab-Ripper X. Now, we haven't done this routine in about 40 days so I was REALLY pleasantly surprised to find that my ability to do full regular push-ups has increased greatly. When we started this little endeavor of ours I was lucky if I could push myself of the floor even once, so I happily stuck with girlie push-ups as I could actually do multiples! Now, I'm not going to be winning any push-up bets, but depending on which type I'm doing I can pump out anywhere from 10+ and then once my arms fail I do a few more from my knees. I can even do those dip back-and-forth push-up things! So over the course of the hour, that's a WHOLE bunch more push-ups than I used to be able to do.
YAY me!

P90X: Day 51, 52, 53, 54 & 55
Day 51 was Core Synergistics, this workout kicks my arse. Feels great afterward though.
Day 52 was Kenpo. I decided to give this workout another try after getting used to the moves in the Cardio X workout. I still really dislike it and feel that I get more out of the Cardio X program.
Day 53 was Core Synergistics. I actually screwed up and tonight was supposed to be X-Stretch. This one kicks my arse everytime but I really wish it was in the rotation more often than just during the rest weeks.
Day 54 was off. Today just ended up being insanely busy and we didn't get a chance to throw the disk in. I don't feel overly bad about missing what would have been the X-Stretch night.
Day 55 was Yoga. Seriously exhausting tonight but felt GREAT.

P90X: Day 49 & 50
So day 49 was our rest day, I went fencing!
Day 50 starts our end of Phase 2 rest week, so we kicked it off with Yoga. I had a brand new mat so that I wasn't slipping and sliding all over the place.
I seriously need to get back into portion control and smart food choices, I've been a little too cavalier these past couple of weeks.

P90X: Day 47 & 48
So hubby was off playing with the boys and bashing people with sticks, this basically gave him an extended day-ling cardio workout so I was on my own for Day 47. I put Cardio X in the machine and pumped myself through with no issues. This workout is pretty exhausting since it brings a little of everything but I feel like I'm cheating because I just can't bring myself to put the Kempo DvD in. I hate it.
Day 48 was Legs & Back. I knew about 15 minutes in that I hadn't eaten enough during the day and that I was starting to "bonk". By the time 45 minutes hit I was having dizzy spells and decided there was just no way that I'd get through the Ab-Ripper workout. I'm actually quite disappointed in myself but we live and learn I guess, and now I know that I really do need to pay attention to eating more!
Tonight is our rest night (aka fencing for me) but I can't believe that we're about to start our Phase 2 rest week. I feel like I'm missing days or something. Maybe my count is off somehow. So I guess we have a week of cardio and stretch-y type stuff before heading into the final muscle total confusion stage.
I already know that I pretty much want to head straight into a second round. Maybe a week off so I can have a BIG FAT GIANT GREASY CHEESEBURGER but then straight back to it!

P90X: Day 43 & 44
Day 43 was Chest, Shoulders & Triceps followed by Ab Ripper X. I seriously dogged the abs workout, I was just exhausted. I guess I didn't eat enough during the day and so bonked.
Day 44 was Plyometrics. LOVE this workout.

P90X: Day 39, 40, 41 & 42
Day 39 was supposed to be Yoga but due to time constraints and hubby still not feeling great we substituted in X-Stretch. Felt great afterward but I feel like we cheated a little. This week generally has been all over the place and I'm considering extending this phase by one more week.
Day 40 Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X. OUCH! My butt still aches...
Day 41 Cardio X. I still hate Kempo so this was again substituted in. I may insist on actually doing Kempo next week though because I think the moves I'm learning in Cardio X are helping me remember how to do them properly.
Day 42 Rest. Because of silly Presidents Day there was no fencing practice tonight so it truly was rest.

P90X: Day 38
Day 38 bought us back again to Back & Biceps +Ab Ripper X. I actually upped my weights and lowered my reps for the first time, lean is great but I need some more strength too. I managed to do better than I thought I would with veins popping out all over the place, it was quite impressive! My forearms are starting to show some better definition to.

P90X: Day 35, 36 & 37
Day 35 was rest.
Day 36 was Chest, Shoulders & Triceps followed by Ab Ripper X. That's a tough workout, my arms still ache a little. I think I'm gonna switch to the more weight / less reps model as I'm getting the impression I need to build a bit more strength.
Day 37 was Plyometrics. Again, I love this workout. I had to do it on my own last night as hubby was asleep with a migraine. I made myself do the workout though because I didn't want to, "just keep pressing play". Doing it alone was TOUGH as I didn't have my workout partner but I got through it.
I'm starting to feel a little dejected, I feel like I'm not seeing any continued improvement.

P90X: Day 31, 32, 33 & 34
And I'm WAY behind again in posting .... **sigh**
Day 31 was Back and Biceps followed by Ab-Ripper X.
Day 32 was Yoga. I struggle through the workout this week, my body was tired.
Day 33 was Legs and Back followed by Ab-Ripper X. My butt-cheeks still ache!
Day 34 was supposed to be Kempo (YUCK!) but we gave Cardio X a try instead since we've not used that one yet. I actually enjoyed it because it is basically all the other cardio DVD's worked into one, a little bit of everything. It was exhausting!

P90X: Day 30
Day 30 was Plyometrics again. I've grown to love this workout even if I am exhausted after I've done it. Its so energetic and really works your lower body and heartrate, my arse is slowly shifting round to the back again!!!

P90X: Day 25, 26, 27 & 28
Day 25 was X-Stretch. AWESOME program and I felt really great afterward. I mean who wouldn't feel great after an hour of stretching!
Day 26 was Core Synergistics again. I enjoy this program as it makes you work in an un-obvious way.
Day 27 was Yoga. LOVE Yoga and getting better at the balance poses every time.
Day 28 is our "rest day" but I was fencing.
And that ends Phase One of the program. We've taken 30 day pictures but I'm not sure if I'm ready to share them so I need to mull that over for a while. There are noticeable differences though which is good motivation going into Phase Two. I guess the hard work really begins tonight.

P90X: Day 24
Day 24 was Kempo. I just want to express how much I fucking HATE Kempo, its the most retarded thing ever.

P90X: Day 22 & 23
The program has this listed as our "rest week".
Day 22 was Yoga. Hubby is all happy because he's finding it easier to do and actually getting through most of the workout now. Now that he knows what poses aggravate his back he's happier.
Day 23 was Core Synergistics. I found this one REALLY weird, it doesn't "seem" like much but it kicked my arse and by the end of the workout I was exhausted! It's basically strength training for the core area of the body.
One thing I will say is that I'm getting quite frustrated at my lack of flexibility these days. It used to be, a VERY long time ago, that I could do the splits. These days I can't even do the floor stuff keeping my legs straight my hamstrings are SO short. Its very frustrating. I need to figure out a way to lengthen them.

P90X: Day 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21
I've turned into a complete slacker with regards posting. I've just been so very busy. And sick...
Anyway, Day 17 was Arms & Shoulders + Ab Ripper X. Pretty uneventful but I'm feeling great after each routine.
Day 18 was supposed to be Yoga but ended up being nothing because of our trip our to Birka (Maine). I feel guilty because we actually missed a day of working out.
Day 19 would have been Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X but since we were in the "meat grinder" all day we swapped the strength training to Sunday and used the bear pits in place of Kenpo.
Therefore, Day 20 became Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X. We both struggled through this as our legs felt like jelly from the weekend, however we managed to stick with most of it.
Tonight is our "off night". Normally I would be at fencing practice but since I'm sick I'm going home. I may do the X-Stretch routine and make up for not doing anything on Friday.
