R-Tard Cat

So, I posted previously pictures of the stoopid cat who likes to drink from the tap while I try to brush my teeth. We've progressed. He's now taken to laying in the sink, curled up looking all cute and cozy, purring away like a motor-boat.

So, I'm in the bathroom this morning getting ready, cat snoozing in the sink and I try to move him so I can brush my teeth. He's having none of it and stays firmly planted in the sink purring away. OK I thought, turn the tap on and the trickle of water will move him 'cos he'll be compelled to drink from it. NOOOOOOOO... He lays there. Purrs some more. And continues to lay there as the sink begins to fill up with water! I eventually had to pick him up out of the sink while he looked at me indignantly and starts to lick himself dry.

Friggin' Cat!

We have a weird cat. He's nuts.

He gets up to all sorts of troublesome things and constantly harasses his older sister. He's constantly chasing her around the house. He gets into EVERYTHING! Including the bags of stuffing I was storing to use in pillows.

He likes water too, which to me is just plain bizarre when you consider how much other cats detest it.

Yes, he really does jump up and drink from the tap. In fact, he will sit on the floor staring up at you willing you to turn the tap on so he can jump up and play with it and drink from it.

Kitty Timeout

We just had a kitty timeout.

I heard a crash, he knocked over the plant with all the stone next to the fireplace.

I found a chain he was carrying around, small silver chain like something a planter would hang from with a hook on the end, can’t figure out where he got it and now its disappeared again, hes hording.

He got his paw stuck in the printer when I was printing my spreadsheets, apparently waiting for it to print before playing w/paper is not good enough, didn’t break the printer tho.

Knocked over the router and pulled the phone out of the jack in the process and now is facinated by sticking his arm in the printer, even tho he just got stuck and cried.

I’m going to have to kill it because I can’t make him stop

Spider is staying well away.

So, we have a kitten. He’s probably about 6 months old by about now. For some very strange reason this stupid little animal loves water. Yesterday morning I took the turkey out of the freezer so it could be defrosted for Thanksgiving (Thursday). I came home from work last night to be told the following…

The frozen turkey had been moved to the sink in the downstairs bathroom so that it could be defrosted in water, so there it sat happily doing its thing. Apparently at some point yesterday Ken finds little wet kitty paw-prints up and down the wooden floor in the hallway. Off course he had to investigate only to find the kitten standing on top of the floating turkey happily playing away. Splashing water all other the bathroom. He was like a little kitty pirate defending his ship. There was turkey water all over the walls, over the floor, over the toilet seat and up the front of the laundry machines. Basically the bathroom looked like a three year old child had taken a bath!
