I'm getting really bad at posting the continued updates to our journey, it's mostly been due to being so busy recently but rest assured we are being diligent about working out even if I suck at posting!
Day 14 was our weekly "off" day. Usually that would involve fight practice but Monday was so FRIGGIN' cold that I couldn't open my car-boot door to load my fencing gear. So I really did get a night off.
Day 15 was back to Chest & Back + Ab Ripper X. I'm definitely getting stronger as the bands I'm using for the modified back exercises is too light, I need to go get like a 30lb band. Also, I upped the dumbbells from 13lbs each to 19lbs each.
Day 16 was back to Plyometrics. Unfortunately I've developed a head cold so I got dizzy towards the end and had to slow down but I did get through the whole workout. I hated this workout the first week but now I love it as it makes me feel really energized and I really enjoy the constant lateral movement. I do have to modify some of the moves because they're high-impact and my knees can't take it but otherwise I'm doing good.
Hubby had me take photo's of him so he could see his progress from just two weeks ago. There's definitely a noticeable difference, his gut is all but gone, there's a lot more shoulder definition and his posture has improved. He says he's lost about 16lbs in weight and about 2 inches off his waist.
I'll post before / after shots for day 0, 30, 60 and 90 at the appropriate times.
