Such a Drip

(I’ve seriously been trying to write this post for a full week now! Anyway…)

Plants need to drink just like us but they often get neglected during the dog-days of summer, keeping them well hydrated will encourage them to be at their best dressed during the entire summer growing season.

Enter the Mister Landscaper irrigation system which we discovered at Lowe’s. If you check out the website you will see that its a “plug-and-play” type system that you can just keep adding to or adjusting as the situation requires. It kind off reminds me of Lego!

We’ve installed it in the back garden with lots of spray-heads and drippers to keep the garden beds going over the summer months. Turn it on for an hour every few days to soak the ground and encourage the roots to grow deep. It works great for potted plants too, but since they need much more regular watering we’ve set up a separate line that can be used more often without drowning the garden.
