Drive Thru

So, one thing I have to say I love about this country is the fact that everything is available via “drive-thru” windows! Need to mail a letter, drive-thru mailbox. Need a quick cheap lunch, drive-thru [insert restaurant here]. Run out of money, drive-thru the bank. Need drugs, drive-thru to pick up your prescription.

There’s a lot of pro’s and con’s to this quirk of the American society. I will happily admit that I am lazy and if I can drive-thru to achieve a goal I will, even if it takes a little longer. Gone are the days of actually having to get out of the car to get things done, I can fill hours with speed-bumps and drive-thru windows. Whats even more sad is when the person at the drive-thru window actually recognizes you, greeting you by name…

Guess I need to get off my nice heated seats a little more often!
