Soft and Plush

Originally posted November 5, 2009
So, I have this pair on black leather gloves that I wear to keep my hands toasty while driving over the winter. I’ve not actually used them yet this year as its either not been cold enough or I just grab my white fleece ones. This morning was the first time I have used them since the mornings started getting cold.

They felt AWFUL on my hands!

Personally I blame fencing and by default my fencing Don! I have these wonderful soft leather gloves I use for fencing that extend about five inches up my arm and I have gotten so used to wearing them that they feel like part of my skin. They are so soft and pliable I just love wearing them, even if the do stain my hands a little black

On the other hand my little black driving gloves that I have always loved so much now feel to tight and irritate me around the wrist where they come to an abrupt end!

One of the very first things my Don told me when I first started fencing back in May or June was that there will come a point when I can’t bear to pick up a sword without gloves on. That has become VERY apparent this week.
