Back in Contact

Good news!

So, since I have picked up my genealogy research again I have been reconnected with a cousin that now resides in Australia. We were in contact before but when I dropped everything I also changed email addresses and communication stopped.

Thankfully he was able to find me again and we have been able to pick up where we left off. He is the grandson of Hugh John Frederick CHAMBERLAINE (better known as “Jack”), my grandmothers elder brother. In her memoirs my grandmother had mentioned a farm named “Little Abbots” where Jack had lived with his wife Ada, my Aussie cousin has fond memories of growing up there for a time and we are currently trying to fill in some details that flesh out the story of “Jack & Ada”. Hopefully one day that will lead to a short biography for that small family unit so that others may know of their lives.
